Who They are

She/Her

 

Antonia Georgieva is a director, writer, and producer working across theatre and fIlm. She specializes in both new writing and adaptations that challenge the dominant narratives and is particularly passionate about telling women’s stories and queer narratives. She began her training in theatre during her BA at Columbia University in New York and then completed an MFA in Advanced Theatre Practice at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has worked on a variety of productions both as a freelance director and as artistic director of Aslant Theatre Company, whose Offie-nominated debut production MUSE (Camden People’s Theatre; Tristan Bates Theatre) she wrote and directed. She is also a member of the devising company Punkt Collective.
